Frieling Celebrates 150 Years Of Zassenhaus Coffee Mills

Frieling is celebrating the 150th anniversary of Zassenhaus Coffee Mills. The company is the exclusive North American distributor for the hand-crank mills.

Founded in 1867, the original Zassenhaus conical burr grinder is made of high grade stainless steel and hardened carbon steel and designed to ensure a proper grind for coffee brewing systems. The durable grinder is said to maintain its optimum cutting edges over time to ensure that the coffee bean is sliced and not pulverized to maximize flavor. The mill also features a variety of adjustments that are said to provide a consistent uniform grind, from coarse to powder-fine, without heat build-up to protect coffee’s delicate flavors and oils.

The coffee mill collection includes Brasilia, Santiago, La Paz, Bogota, Montevideo, Lima, Panama, Guatemala, Quito and Buenos Aires designs, with a variety of color choices. The mills are available for immediate shipment, with suggested retail prices ranging from $20 to $184.95.
