Home specialist e-tailer Frontgate plans to enter the brick and mortar space with its first “experiential” store, scheduled to open in late May.
The 22,000-square-foot store will open in the Dallas market, the company noted, and offer Frontgate customers a new retail shopping experience that brings its brand to life while making customers feel at home.
The store will offer customers space to relax with refreshments and gourmet bites, encouraging them to slow down and interact with available designers and lifestyle experts while planning their home decor for occasions and everyday enjoyment, Frontgate maintained. A patio showcase space will provide an open-air shopping environment
The Dallas store opens with a month of celebrations, the retailer noted, including a grand tasting, design workshops and classes on entertaining.
Jenn Reeves, Frontgate head of brand marketing, said, “This concept store will be a truly unique showcase for our brand as well as a shopping experience for our consumers. We’re bringing the brand to life in a 360-degree environment, allowing our consumers to interact with our products in a comfortable space that makes them feel at home. We can’t wait to welcome the local community to our new home in Dallas.”
