CHICAGO— Fusionbrands is expanding its kitchenware assortment with a range of new designs, which will debut at the International Home + Housewares Show, here.
The company will debut the MushroomCloth, a soft flexible silicone gentle-touch mushroom and vegetable-cleaning tool. According to the company, the MushroomCloth works like a brush, but is gentle like a cloth to remove dirt and debris without scarring or discoloring delicate mushroom skins. The MushroomCloth is non-porous, resistant to bacteria growth, dries fast to prevent moisture from collecting and is dishwasher safe. It has a suggested retail price of $4.99 and will be available in May.
The company will also introduce additions to existing lines. For example, it will debut a clear version of its silicone PopMeasure measuring tool, which has traditionally been available in color. The tool is designed to pop up when in use and pop down for easy storage.
The new clear version is available in two sizes with easy read measurements from above and a cool-to-the-touch solid center grip.
The small size (SRP $3.99) measures 2 tablespoons to 1/4 cup and the XL size (SRP $9.99) measures 1/4 cup to 2 cups. The new clear PopMeasure tools will be available in April.
Fusionbrands will also introduce its CoverBlubber in clear. The reusable stretchy food saver was also originally introduced in color. According to Fusionbrands, the company is now making it in clear to help consumers see refrigerated leftovers through the cover. The new CoverBlubber clear will be sold in a three-pack of what the company said are the most used sizes—small, medium and large.
Fusionbrands is also adding to its PoachPod egg-poaching tool, with the PoachPod Yolk. According to the company, the floating egg poaching tool is made of silicone and has been updated with a new design. It has an egg white exterior with a yellow yolk. It will have an SRP of $9.99 and will be available in April.
As a follow up to its StirStik, a cook’s utility stick to stir, scrape and spread, Fusionbrands will introduce the StirStik Mini. The new 8-inch tall design has a new tapered side edge that lets consumers stir sauces or drinks, scrape sides of jars or mini blenders, and spread condiments or frostings.
The StirStik mini has an SRP of $3.99 and its display unit is designed like a paint can to hold the four different colors of black, blue, green and red. The StirStik minis will be available in April.
In addition, Fusionbrands is entering the cleaning category with the WaveSponge, a silicone kitchen cleaning tool with unique wave scrubbing features. The company stated that the WaveSponge comes with an internal area to add and release soap, a squeegee to push liquids or crumbs off the countertop and a sturdy nylon scraper for stuck on foods on pots, pans, dishes or the stovetop.
The WaveSponge has an SRP of $9.99, comes in black or green and will be available in May.
