Ginsu Brands has introduced a line of basic shears. The collection includes nine SKUs of open stock shears.
The 8-inch stainless steel shears feature a serrated stainless steel cutting edge and large handle openings that are said to fit comfortably in the hand. The sharp blades are designed for use with a wide range of cutting tasks and have an ergonomic non-slip grip for safety and comfort.
The basic shears come in seven colors that coordinate with the Ginsu Essential cutlery line. The colors include: black, lime green, ocean teal, presidential blue, pomegranate red, orange spice and sunset yellow.
Ginsu also carries its Premium Shears, which come in black. These shears have gripping steel teeth in the middle of the handle that are said to make it easy to remove stubborn twist-off caps and can also be used for cracking seafood or nuts.
Ginsu Basic Shears have a suggested retail price of $7.99 and the Premium Shears have a suggested retail price of $9.99. Ginsu also offers a two-piece set of premium shears for a suggested retail price of $12.99.
