Get It Right (GIR) has launched a Kickstarter campaign for its new ladle and spoonula.
The ladle features a flexible front edge that can bend into any container to scoop up food, the company said. It also has a sharp rim that is said to not dribble or spill as a consumer uses the ladle to pour. The bowl of the ladle has a sphere shape and the handle hits it at a 45 degree angle. According to GIR, the interaction between those shapes makes it easy to direct the flow of liquid exactly where a user wants it. The bowl will hold 3/4 of a cup of liquid, and has large measurement marks in metric and imperial units.
In addition, the new spoonula combines a spatula with a curved bowl of a spoon. The edge is sharp for scraping and precise scooping and the bowl is extra deep, and the blade has flexibility. It comes in seven colors: red, orange, green, blue, white, gray and black.
GIR said both tools are made of pharmaceutical grade platinum silicone and is antimicrobial, dishwasher safe and heat-proof up to 464 degrees Fahrenheit over time.
