NEW YORK— Gotham Steel, the DRTV-supported non-stick cookware marketed by Emson, has been named official cookware partner of the 2017 World Food Championships, set to be held November 8 through 14 in Orange Beach, AL.
Gotham Steel cookware, featuring a ceramic and titanium non-stick coating, will be provided to competitors in the WFC Kitchen Arena. Each cooking station will be equipped with a 7-quart pot, a 5-quart pot, a 3-quart pot and a 12.5-inch pan, all with lids.
In addition to providing cookware to competitors during the tournament, a gift set of Gotham Steel cookware will be presented to ten champions who make this year’s WFC Final Table. Gotham Steel will have on site representatives during each competition to demonstrate the cookware. Gotham Steel cookware will be on display and available for sale during WFC.
“We are thrilled with Gotham Steel’s new partnership and extreme interest in Food Sport,” said Mike McCloud, president and CEO of the World Food Championships. “The 2016 seafood division champion, James Aptakin, is already a strong advocate and ambassador of their product. So we know it is competition worthy and will be well received by all of the competitors.”
“Emson is extremely excited to sponsor the World Food Championships. With its ceramic and titanium coating, Gotham Steel has been changing the way consumers cook while promoting a healthier lifestyle as no oil or butter is needed,” said Eddie Mishan, president of Emson.
