Small electrics supplier Gourmia will showcase an assortment of smart home appliances with select items equipped with cameras to allow the user to monitor the cooking process when not near the unit. All new items will be on display at the International Home + Housewares Show.
The new FryHigh auto rotisserie multi-fryer and Free Fry turbo cook center each are equipped with smart home capabilities and cameras that can be used with Gourmia’s app to view food during the cooking process. When using the app, users are also able to share pictures of their food on various social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram and Skype.
In addition, users are able to adjust the cooking program of both units at any time using the recipe’s recommendations from the mobile app. The app also allows for selection of one-touch recipes and remote operation of the appliance, including control of program, temperature and time.
Other new electrics to be featured include the Tea Square craft tea maker and coffee brewer. According to the company, the unit automatically brews loose-leaf tea and coffee without the need for constant monitoring.
The mobile app allows for one touch remote operation, selection strength of the tea/coffee from three different levels and notification when the tea/coffee is ready. The unit also allows for voice control through Amazon’s Alexa.
