NEW YORK— Hamilton Beach is launching a new line of slow cookers with Ree Drummond, also known as The Pioneer Woman, with the initial assortment of appliances available exclusively at Walmart and at Walmart.com.
According to the small electrics supplier, the slow cooker designs were inspired by the popular Food Network star’s daily life living on an Oklahoma ranch. The Flea Market pattern, available in September, will accompany the current line of Pioneer Woman dinnerware, serveware and cookware currently on the market and available
at Walmart.
In addition, designs including Vintage Floral, Country Garden and Rose Shadow will also be available in September, but have a limited run at retail that extends through the 2017 holiday season.
The slow cookers in The Pioneer Woman line offer 6-quart capacities with lids that are equipped with clips to provide spill resistant travel along with full-grip handles. The removable stoneware and glass lid each are dishwasher safe and cooking settings include high, low and keep warm.
Bringing The Pioneer Woman brand to the kitchen electrics segment further expands Drummond’s name in the world of housewares. In 2015, Gibson Overseas teamed with the culinary star on a broad assortment of more than 100 SKUs that included cookware, bakeware, cutlery, kitchenware and gadgets.
Since launching two years ago, The Pioneer Woman collection has been a mainstay at Walmart and at Walmart.com, with the retailer frequently advertising the product line in weekly circulars
and online.
