The Helix collection comprises three food and citrus presses that each feature a twisting mechanism that multiplies force to make food prep easier, noted the company. According to the company, the squeezing force is applied horizontally, which is much more comfortable and utilizes the power of the shoulders as well. According to the company, this twisting action provides the consumer with more power as it takes on various tasks.
Each of the kitchen tools in the Helix collection feature a stainless steel design with a nylon construction and comes in two pieces so it can be cleaned in the dishwasher.
The Helix garlic press enables multiple cloves of garlic to be crushed at once yielding more of the vegetable. The Helix garlic press has a suggested retail price of $14.99.
The Helix potato ricer utilizes the same twisting mechanism in order to prepare mashed potatoes, as well as other vegetables for smooth purees.
Utilizing the same technology, the Helix citrus juicer squeezes lemons and limes to extract fresh juice for recipes. It has a suggested retail price of $19.99.
Joseph Joseph also debuted the Spiro 3-in-1 hand-held spiralizer. The new gadget comes with three blade options: coarse and fine for vegetable noodles and a rotary grating blade for grating cheese and vegetables. The Spiro 3-in-1 spiralizer has a suggested retail price of $14.99.
The Spiro features a soft-grip lid, for easy turning, and two guide arms that help keep food straight as a consumer twists. It also has a soft-grip handle and food grip container base that is clear to collect food during the cutting process.
After use, the three blades and the lid store neatly together with the base for compact storage. The Spiro has a suggested retail price of $14.99.
The kitchen tools made their debut at the recent Atlanta International Gift & Home and Furnishings Market, and will begin shipping in May.
