ATLANTA— The Homer Laughlin China Company unveiled its Fiesta color of the year for 2017 at the Atlanta International Gift & Home Furnishings Market earlier this month: Daffodil, a vibrant golden yellow.
“Daffodil yellow is a color that always elicits a smile,” said color expert Leatrice Eiseman. “It’s sunny and cheerful, evoking warm thoughts and fond memories that people often attach to Fiesta dinnerware.”
At any given time, Fiesta has 15 colors in its spectrum. As previously reported, with the addition of Daffodil, the company is retiring its Paprika color. Fiesta’s 2017 color offering includes: Ivory, Slate, Sage, Claret, Scarlet, Poppy, Tangerine, Daffodil, Sunflower, Lemongrass, Shamrock, Turquoise, Lapis, Cobalt and White.
The brand also expanded its decorated offering with a new Floral Bouquet pattern, available on a 9-inch lunch plate, plus select licensed products, including a tablecloth and napkins from Town & Country and Tervis insulated drinkware.
Floral Bouquet features shades of signature Fiesta colors, such as Scarlet, Poppy, Sunflower, Lapis, Shamrock, Lemongrass and Daffodil against a white background.
“The beauty of this fresh design is that so many Fiesta colors are represented within it,” said Rich Brinkman, vp/sales and marketing, Homer Laughlin. “Floral Bouquet takes on a chameleon effect where it can paired with nearly any color in the Fiesta spectrum to create a cohesive statement on your tabletop.”
