Kaz Adds Compact AirGenius Cleaner To Honeywell Line

Kaz, a division of Helen of Troy, has launched the Honeywell compact AirGenius 4 air cleaner, a slightly smaller version of the company’s AirGenius 4 tower air cleaner.

According to the company, it features patented ifD technology, a fan-forced electronic filtration system that captures up to 99.9% of airborne particles 0.3 microns and larger that pass through the filter, including mold spores, pollen, dust, smoke and pet dander. The air cleaner also captures odors and common household volatile organic compounds such as fumes from household cleaners, paint, new flooring and products.

Users rinse the filter to clean it every three months, with a filter indicator light illuminating when it is time to clean the filter. The compact unit also has an oscillation setting and can be set to automatically shut off after two, four or eight hour cycles. A dimmer feature allows the user to dim the control panel lights when used in a bedroom.

The air cleaner was engineered for rooms up to 150 square feet, and is suitable for bedrooms, offices or smaller living spaces, the company said. Users can select from four different settings based on their specific need: sleep, general, allergen and max.
