The Housewares Charity Foundation is donating $100,000 to the American Red Cross, with the funds allocated to assisting victims of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma.
“The collective thoughts and prayers of the housewares industry have been with the residents of Texas and Florida the last few weeks, and these disasters have affected our colleagues in these states as well,” said Phil Brandl, HCF co-chair and president and CEO of the International Housewares Association. “The industry comes together for charitable giving through the Housewares Charity Foundation and we are grateful to be able to help the Red Cross during this time of crisis.”
The Housewares Charity Foundation will host its 21st annual gala March 12, 2018, at Navy Pier in Chicago during the International Home + Housewares Show.
