Hudson’s Bay Company has appointed David Schwartz as evp/general counsel. He will lead the company’s global legal organization across its retail banners, and will drive initiatives critical to its strategic plan.
Schwartz joins Hudson’s Bay after 15 years with Toys “R” Us, where he served as general counsel for over a decade. He will also be a member of the company’s executive leadership team, and serve as corporate secretary to its board of directors. The appointment is effective September 30.
