Seminars and other programming scheduled for the Fall High Point Market will include 20 events that will connect attendees to other professionals in the home furnishing industry, according to International Market Centers.
A highlight of the event schedule is TrendWatch, IMC’s High Point Market signature program featuring market resources that spotlight key themes as well as product vignette displays and a companion print guide. The Sherwin-Williams Colormix 2017 Color Forecast with Susan Wadden will focus on hues that could brighten the prospects of home furnishings vendors and retailers.
An exclusive Inside the Designer’s Studio seminar features Vicente Wolf and more programming with “tastemakers,” including Julia Buckingham, Jamie Drake, Mary Douglas Drysdale, Barclay Butera, Corey Damen Jenkins, Lance Jackson, Scot Meacham Wood, Paloma Contreras and Gary Inman.
In addition, a designer-led Curated Tours of the Suites program at Market Square runs from Saturday, October 22 through Tuesday, October 25, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. Tours will depart from the top floor of the Suites at Market Square and offer a first-hand look at what the designers think is hot at High Point Market.
