IMUSA is expanding its kitchen electrics assortment to include a selection of appliances that the company considers more “everyday housewares.”
Among the new appliances IMUSA will feature will be an electric skillet, stainless steel rice cookers, stainless steel slow cooker, electric mini food chopper, electric can openers, coffeemakers, toasters, toaster ovens and blenders. All of the new electrics will be offered during the International Home + Housewares Show.
“We heard from our retail customers that they wanted us to be more of a one-stop shop,” said Raul Corzo, president, IMUSA USA. “They were asking us for items such as rice cookers and hand mixers.”
The expansion into small kitchen electrics that are not necessarily marketed as an ethnic cooking product allows the company to broaden its reach while simultaneously giving its core consumers more tools from which to choose, Corzo said.
