Kuhn Rikon will launch induction fry pan lines at the International Home + Housewares Show.
All of the new pans are said to be designed to achieve maximum effectiveness via an advanced full induction surface. The pans are made of forged aluminum, with a 5.0mm base and a 3-layer non-stick coating that is reinforced with titanium particles. According to Kuhn Rikon, the pans are durable and dishwasher safe and can be used on any stovetop, including induction, electric, gas, Ceran and halogen.
The Kuhn Rikon Easy Induction Frying Pan is available in 7.8-inch, 9.5-inch and 11.8-inch sizes. The sides are curved to accommodate frying and stirring. The products range in suggested retail price from $24 to $36.
The company’s second line, the the Kuhn Rikon Easy Induction Frying Pan High Wall, is offered in the same three sizes with 2.5-inch high sides. This shape is especially well suited for large quantities of one-pot dishes, braising meat or frying chicken, the company said. The suggested retail prices range from $26 to $40.
