Lamps Plus has expanded operations into Canada with the launch of LampsPlus.ca. The new site has been optimized for e-commerce via desktop, tablet and mobile and was specifically designed to provide a localized experience in the country.
Canadian customers have been able to purchase from LampsPlus.com since 1998. Now, however, LampsPlus.ca will offer an assortment of lighting and home furnishings that focus on the needs of the Canadian market including displaying prices in Canadian dollars. The site will provide free standard shipping in Canada on most products, which will leave from the company’s California distribution center.
“Canada has always been an important market for Lamps Plus,” said Dennis Swanson, Lamps Plus, CEO. “However, our focus was growing the U.S. e-commerce site before we launched a Canadian site. With this new website, we are taking a major step forward in bringing our product line to the country.
