Lasko Holdings, parent company of Lasko Products and Air King America, has appointed Terry Carlson CEO.
Carlson succeeds Jerry W. Levin, who held the position of interim CEO since the November acquisition of the company by Comvest Partners and JW Levin Management Partners. Levin will remain chairman of the board of directors.
According to the company, Carlson has a long history of accomplishment in the consumer durables market, attending housewares and hardware shows since 1984. His experience includes positions with Black & Decker, DeWalt, Emerson, Bosch, Raymarine, Jarden and most recently Universal Trailer.
He has a wide breadth of functional experiences including new product development, global expansion, systems implementation, brand building and operations improvements, and a performance history of sales growth and market share gains, the company said.
“Terry fully recognizes the importance of our domestic manufacturing facilities in providing service to our retailers. I am confident he is the right leader for our team and business,” said Levin.
