Le Creuset will be rolling out its new Sakura collection of housewares in April. According to the company, the designs imbue the spirit of the Japanese cherry blossom.
The new Sakura 2-3/4 round Dutch oven, which will carry a suggested retail price of $325, will feature a Hibiscus base with white cherry blossom flower design and gold foil leaf feature. It will have a coordinating gold knob.
Le Creuset’s demi tea kettle is colored in Hibiscus pink with white cherry blossom decal. The kettle has stainless steel handle brackets for secure handling and a heat-resistant handle. A set of two Sakura bistro mugs, which carries a suggested retail price of $50, is made of stoneware and has a 14 ounce capacity.
The company will launch a full collection of Sakura appliqué pieces, including cast iron, stoneware and mills.
