Lifetime Brands will debut the Farberware Rice-n-Slice Vegetable Ricer at the International Home + Housewares Show, scheduled to be held March 10 to 13 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
The Farberware Rice-n-Slice is designed to rice vegetables such as cauliflower, broccoli, squash, potatoes and carrots. The gadget has suction feet that provide a secure grip during use.
To use, a consumer can slip the gadget’s blade over the center of the 7.5-cup capacity bowl and add vegetables. Then, the consumer can cover it, attach the pump mechanism, and slide the green switch. It is then ready to be pumped until vegetables are crumbled to the desired size for use in a sauté or other recipe. The clear bowl snaps out of the base for cleaning.
