Love Cooking Company has entered into a licensing agreement with Harry & David. The new collection of housewares will include bakeware, dinnerware, serveware, home textiles and barbecue products.
Scott Nicholson, president, Love Cooking, said he is excited to help broaden the Harry & David brand’s product base using the same quality standards that Harry & David is known for.
Harry & David is known for its distribution of fruits, desserts and appetizers. The company distributes its premium food, gourmet and gift products through catalogs, its own branded retail locations, specialty chains, wholesale clubs and department stores. According to Harry & David, the company continues to grow its assortment of gourmet food gifts and products on an annual basis.
“All of the brand’s designs and seasonal themes, from spring and summer to harvest and holiday, will tie in across all housewares product lines,” said Nicholson.
Retailers can expect a merchandised line of Harry & David housewares offerings in the summer of 2017, with a major program launch in the spring of 2017, according to the company.
Additionally, the two companies aim to create an assortment of coordinating consumer products, establishing multiple sales at the point of purchase. To accomplish this, Love Cooking added Michael Ciavolino to the company to help manage this process. Ciavolino has 25 years of experience in home textiles, Nicholson said.
