The Love Cooking Company has tied the knot on a new celebrity partnership. The licensing partnership with celebrity wedding planner and fashion designer David Tutera will deepen the company’s housewares offering with current retailers, and also expand the company’s signature bakeware and serving solutions into new channels.
Tutera’s fame has elevated over the last decade as a host and star on numerous WE tv programs, including “David Tutera’s Celebrations” and “My Fair Wedding,” and as author of seven books on home entertaining. His partnership with Love Cooking will enable the company to enter new categories with home entertaining and storage solutions, and will also bring new materials and innovations to the market, Scott Nicholson, president of Love Cooking, told HOMEWORLD BUSINESS®.
According to Nicholson, the theme with the David Tutera line, called the Sweet Celebrations Collection, is bake, take and serve. The collection is said to provide all the tools the consumer needs to bake sweet treats, transport them to an event or party and also serve them.
“Love Cooking and David are both on a mission to create and bring to market events and products that offer unmatched levels of inspiration, uniqueness and convenience,” Nicholson said. “The collection will offer all of the aspects of what David’s entertaining empire represents: vibrant colors, elegance, innovation, creativity and unmatched functionality.”
The program features one main unit, the Decadent Delights Carrier, which comes with a combination cake and cake pop tray. The cake and cake pop tray can then be swapped out for seven additional inserts: a mini cupcake tray, a standard cupcake tray, a 2-tier dessert tray, a divided snack bowl, a salad bowl, a 3-tier display, and a cone cake tray, each to be sold separately. The main carrier will have a suggested retail price of $29.99 and the accessories range from $6.99 to $14.99.
The Sweet Celebrations Collection, as well as a food storage assortment, will be available to retailers in spring 2016.
