Luigi Bormioli will debut a new capacity wine glass to its Aero collection at the New York Tabletop Market, which will be held from October 17 to 20.
Each glass in the Aero collection allows for oxygenation of wine with its specially designed helical incision inside the bowl of the glass. According to the company, as the wine is swirled in the glass, the turbulence created results in a greater air-wine mixture which helps to enhance to wine’s aroma and flavor.
Made in Italy, the glass is created with a proprietary SON.hyx formula to strengthen and keep the glass brilliant through 4,000 dishwashing cycles, according to the company. The glass is also created with a proprietary titanium reinforced treatment to increase stem strength and durability.
The new Aero 20-ounce wine glass is available in a gift box of six for a suggested retail price of $44.99.
Luigi Bormioli will also expand its double wall thermic glass collection with a short and tall tumbler and Irish coffee mug, and will debut two new glass dinnerware collections.
