CHICAGO— Lékué is adding to its culinary assortment with new baking and kitchen tools at the International Home + Housewares Show, here.
The company is intro-ducing a Christmas Tree cookie cutter, which cuts out 19 trees in one press.
The jigsaw-style Christmas Tree cookie cutter is dishwasher safe and easy to store, said the company. All of the shapes are attached so they won’t go missing in the dishwasher or a drawer.
The cookie cutter retails for $10.
In addition, the company is also adding to its microwave product assortment with a new microwave corn cooker. The design works in five minutes or less, said the company, and eliminates the need to boil a big pot of water. It also prevents splatter in the microwave.
The microwave corn cooker holds two ears of corn and includes four end-knobs for turning the ears of corn to add butter or other flavors.
The base of the corn cooker is molded into two sections to prevent the corn from rolling. The knobs stick out of the holder so cooks can rotate the ears of corn without lifting the vented lid. The molded handles on the cooker are comfortable and easy to handle so a cook can carry the corn right to the table using the base as a tray, noted the company. Both the lid and base are dishwasher safe.
The microwave corn cooker retails for $20.
