United Kingdom-based tableware company Make International has opened its first-ever showroom in North America, at Forty One Madison, housed in a 1,000 square foot space on the building’s 17th floor.
The company was established in 2005 by company director Dominic Speelman and ceramist Keith Brymer Jones joined in 2008. The company has since collaborated with designers and culinary stars across the U.K. to design tabletop and accessories collections, which also include glassware.
Head of design, Jones’ experience stretches back more than 20 years, hand-making ceramics for retailers including Ted Baker, Laura Ashley, Bergdorf Goodman, and Barneys New York.
In addition to the Keith Brymer Jones collections, Make’s brand portfolio includes Harlequin’s Scion, Jane Foster, Becky Baur, Layla Faye, Hokoli and Designer’s Guild.
