CHICAGO— The Metal Ware Corporation will debut a host of new kitchen electrics at the upcoming International Home + Housewares Show with a focus on items designed to simplify meal preparation.
The assortment includes a selection of pressure cookers, a roaster oven, hand mixer, grill and coffee urn.
With one-pot cooking remaining popular with consumers, the company will showcase a new line of pressure cookers under the Nesco brand. The 11-quart stainless steel digital control unit is designed to brown, steam and slow cook a variety of foods while also offering functionality to cook rice and keep food warm. In addition, the slow cooker can also be used for canning high acid food such as fruit jellies, jams, sauces and salsa. Suggested retail price is $149.99
In addition, the company is also offering the pressure cooker in two smaller sizes: a 6-quart for $79.99 and 8-quart for $114.99.
Metal Ware will also feature its new American Harvest 18-quart roaster oven. The unit is designed to accommodate a turkey up to 22-pounds and also allow home chefs to cook and bake a variety of foods from roast pork and ham to cakes, pies and stews. Suggested retail price is $39.99.
The new Nesco 16-speed mixer features a 300-watt motor that is said by the company to be similar to a professional powered mixer. Offering a comfortable soft grip handle, the unit is equipped with a digital LED display and fingertip controls for ease of switching between speeds. A built-in timer helps keep track of mixing times. Suggested retail price is $44.99.
For the grilling enthusiast, the new Nesco grill with glass lid is designed for use in a variety of settings including the kitchen, camper, RV or office. The unit allows the home cook to grill a variety of foods and when using the glass lid, offers a cooking experience similar to that of an oven.
The grill offers a non-stick interior and a tray to catch grease. All parts are dishwasher safe when the temperature probe is removed. Suggested retail price is $69.99.
Rounding out the featured new appliances is the company’s Nesco 25-cup stainless steel coffee urn. According to the company, the commercially rated unit offers a capacity that allows for the brewing of up to 25 5.7-ounce cups of coffee. Approximate brewing time is one minute per cup and the unit features a locking lid and stay-cool handles. Suggested retail price is $44.99.
