Microplane has added the Grip’n Strip vegetable peeler to its kitchen tool assortment.
The new ergonomically designed kitchen tool allows consumers to easily peel fruits and vegetables when held in a variety of positions, the company said. The Grip’n Strip peeler comes in two blade styles: straight and serrated. The serrated style is designed to peel the skins of soft foods such as tomatoes, kiwis and peaches.
The serrated Grip’n Strip peeler is available in black, while the straight version comes in black, red and green. The peeler has a suggested retail price of $7.98 and will be available in September.
