HOMEWORLD BUSINESS® and the Homewares Show division of the National Hardware Show are teaming to present the 10th annual Homewares Awards competition at this year’s show, May 9-11 at the Las Vegas Convention Center.
The awards will be presented during a special ceremony May 10, 4 p.m. at the NRHA stage in the central hall of the convention center.
The Homewares Awards program was launched in 2008 to recognize homewares/housewares manufacturers exhibiting at the Homewares Show. Entries are evaluated on aesthetics, differentiation/uniqueness, whether they fill consumer needs, overall value and packaging/merchandising support. Gold, Silver, Bronze and Honorable Mention awards will be presented.
A merchant panel representing the wide scope of retail channels that attend the National Hardware Show is set to judge the 2017 Homewares Awards. The panel includes retailers that have been recognized for their commitment to new product design, innovation and creative merchandising and presentation.
Judges from the following retail organizations are confirmed for this year’s Homewares Awards: HDW, Inc., Home Hardware, Lowe’s, Orchard Supply, Organize it, Table + Dine and Wakefern Food Corp.
