Nostalgia Inspires Luigi Bormioli’s Happy Days Glassware

Luigi Bormioli has introduced the Happy Days collection, an expansion of its Thermic glassware assortment. The retro inspired Happy Days glasses and bowl design would fit right into a 1950’s soda shop, according to the company.

Like other glasses in its original Thermic collection, the Happy Days glassware are all handmade of double wall borosilicate glass. The lightweight glasses are both microwave and dishwasher safe and designed for durability, according to Luigi Bormioli. In addition, the borosilicate glasses are said to maintain hot or cold temperatures of the drinks and food, while the double wall design prevents condensation to the outer surface.

The new Happy Days collection features a 13.25-ounce soda glass, a 12.25-ounce ice cream dish, a 12.25-ounce hi ball glass, a 10.25-ounce double old fashioned glass, and a 10.25-ounce mug. Each Happy Days glassware piece is packed in a two-pack gift box and has a suggested retail price of $30.
