O-Cedar Launches Social Media Campaign

O-Cedar is launching a social media campaign designed to reach parents who have shifted their cleaning habits to the back-to-school season.

According to the company, the goal is to start a cleaning conversation among parents by asking them to share their favorite back-to-school cleaning routines and tips on social media.

Francis Perrin, North America’s marketing director for Freudenberg Household Products, parent company of O-Cedar, said, “We were surprised to learn more parents were using the back-to-school season as a time to deep clean their homes versus spring time. That’s why we wanted to launch a timely campaign to get parents talking about their favorite fall cleaning tips while also making readily available a practical cleaning tool, our EasyWring Spin Mop & Bucket System.”

Now available, the spin mop and bucket system features an exclusive spin bucket design with hands-free wringer to control the moisture level of the reusable microfiber mop head. The system features a splashguard to keep water spray inside the bucket when wringing and easy-to-use foot pedal. The spin mop has a suggested retail price of $39.99.

O-Cedar’s back-to-school campaign runs through the month of August and parents can get involved by sharing a photo or video of their family’s back-to-school cleaning routine or favorite tip using #OCedarB2S. For every use of the hashtag, O-Cedar will donate $1 to Cleaning for a Reason, a non-profit organization that provides free home cleaning services nationwide to women battling cancer.
