The Oneida Group is moving its global headquarters to Columbus, OH. According to the company, the move will not affect the flagship glassware plant in Lancaster, OH, which is next door to the current headquarters and has about 800 employees.
“We are unifying our culture as one company and consolidating our global operations in central Ohio,” said Patrick Lockwood-Taylor, CEO, Oneida. “The Oneida Group maintains our focus on growing the business through innovative designs that delight our customers, offering the best food preparation and dining products and services. By offering industry leading brands that consumers and operators prefer, we will sustainably grow our business.”
Oneida also plans to close offices in New York, Arkansas and Canada and move them to the Columbus location. In addition, the company will continue to operate a manufacturing plant in Monaca, PA, as well as a distribution center in Savannah, GA.
The company plans to host a series of grand opening events for customers, business partners and community leaders pending completion of the innovation center and showroom in summer 2017.
