LAS VEGAS— Pacific Coast Lighting is gearing up for the Winter Las Vegas Market with a variety of new looks, including a novel floor lamp.
The 65-inch tall Kershaw floor lamp has a slim dark walnut or matte black-finished wood body that breaks into four curved metallic feet. Beside the metal look of the feet, the lamp comes with antique brass accents. Pull chains operate two medium base 100-watt bulbs. A white cotton linen blend drum shade with dimensions of 20-inches by 20-inches by 11-inches high caps the lamp. The wood body component is CARB compliant.
Also demonstrating a mid-century modern influence, the Harlem floor lamp is clad in a powder coated black finish. The metal body tops out behind a dark gray linen rectangular shade with a satin liner at 10-inches by 18-inches by 10-inches high. The Harlem floor lamp takes a 100-watt medium base bulb and has a foot dimmer switch. The overall height is 65 inches.
A mid-century modern Drome table lamp offers a brushed antique brass dome swivel shade that has an 8-inch diameter and a height of 4.5-inches. The cylindrical metal body also sports a brushed antique brass finish. The lamp takes a medium base 40-watt bulb and has an overall height of 17-inches.
Although it shares some mid-century modern touches with many other Pacific Coast introductions, the Maddox is more industrial in form with a reflector atop and behind an acrylic lens supported by an extension from the body. The lamp is metal with a brushed antique brass body. It takes a 60-watt Edison bulb that turns on and off via an in-line switch. The height is 31 inches.
In tone, the Taurus table lamp also has a mid-century modern influence but with a little eclectic flair provided by the geometric pattern incised into the matte antique finish brass mesh metal outer drum shade. The body has a unique quality itself, as it rises from a metal base finished in the same antique brass finish as the shade, but one that tapers up and through to cobalt blue glass. The inner shade is cream polished linen, and shade dimensions are 15-inches by 15-inches by 8.5-inches high. Lamp height is 26-inches, and it takes a 150-watt medium base bulb.
In contrast, the Wild Horses lamp, in two versions, takes more of a western look. True to its name, it sports a pair of wild horses sculpted in profile and encircled as part of a mid body comprised of an antique brass ring upheld by a walnut and black finish lower body. The lamp rests on an antique brass finish foot and rises to a wheat course linen drum shade at 16-inches by 16-inches by 10-inches high for the table lamp and at 18-inches by 18-inches by 11-inches high for the floor lamp. The table lamp has an overall height of 29.5-inches while the floor lamp rises to 61-inches high. Each takes a medium base 150-watt bulb.
In addition, the Zigzag table lamp offers a ceramic body in a gloss white finish topped by a cream cotton linen blend round shade expanding from 15-inches to 16-inches in diameter by 11-inches high. The lamp takes a medium base, 150-watt bulb. Overall lamp height is 29.5-inches, noted Pacific Coast Lighting.
