PackIt, known for its gel-lined, freezable lunch bags and totes, will be donating 15% of all sales to the Lymphoma & Leukemia Society through the end of April.
For every bag purchased on Packit.com, 15% of proceeds will be given to this foundation to help find a cure for blood cancers. This cause is near and dear to founder Melissa Kieling’s heart, as her brother-in-law, Scott Peterson, was diagnosed with Lymphoma, and has been in remission for 10 years, according to the company.
“I wanted to create a campaign to help support this cause as it has affected my family personally. PackIt is committed to doing everything it can help to find a cure,” she said.
Consumers who purchase a bag during the month of April are asked to take a photo with the bag and post it on social media using the hashtag #REMISSION10.
