CHICAGO— Perfect Pod, a manufacturer of single-serve coffee accessories, will introduce two new products at the International Home + Housewares Show, here.
The EZ Scoop is designed for use with single-serve refillable capsules. It also features an integrated scoop and funnel and can be used with one hand.
According to the company the EZ Scoop’s design provides the consumer with a cleaner way to scoop and pour coffee grinds into a refillable capsule. The bottom portion of the scoop can be used to tamper the ground into the capsule.
It has a suggested retail price of $7.99.
Perfect Pod will also introduce the travel-sized Carafe Mug 2.0. According to the company, this mug is designed to allow consumers to brew coffee from a single-serve coffee maker directly into it.
According to the company, the Carafe Mug 2.0 fits Keurig 2.0 brewers and comes with a 2.0-compatible refillable capsule.
The travel mug can hold up to 24 ounces of coffee, is double walled, vacuum insulated and designed to fit most auto cup holders. It also has a clear, splash-proof lid made of Tritan plastic. In addition, it has a tapered design, which the company said fits a consumer’s hand.
The Carafe Mug 2.0 will start shipping in the second quarter and will have a suggested retail price of $24.99.
