Royal Philips has expanded its connected oral healthcare lineup with the launch of its Sonicare DiamondClean Smart connected toothbrush, said to be a complete care solution for the mouth.
The sonic toothbrush features new high-performance brush heads with microchip recognition technology, personalized coaching, guidance from smart sensor technology and an intuitive adaptive brushing experience, and offers plaque removal, gum health, tongue care and tooth whitening, the company said.
“We have built a new platform for oral care that empowers consumers and dental professionals with data and guidance to proactively manage and improve people’s oral health. The Philips Sonicare DiamondClean Smart is our latest innovation supporting our ambition to create the future of oral healthcare,” said Egbert van Acht, business leader Health & Wellness at Philips.
The DiamondClean Smart connected toothbrush will be in North America and Europe from August, followed by additional markets in 2017. The Philips Sonicare app is free to download and available on iOS and Android devices.
