CHICAGO— Polder is debuting organizational solutions for the kitchen and bath at the International Home + Housewares Show.
The company’s new bath storage caddy with dual action squeegee is designed to be easy to lift and to keep basic cleaning supplies, neat, organized and accessible. The caddy features three built-in split compartments. It is said to be designed to be strong enough to hold supplies upright and to be stain resistant to harsh cleaners. The rounded carry handle is centered to add balance and stability when transporting the full caddy from room to room. Included is the patent pending Dual Action Squeegee that features two uniquely angled blades to allow for a continuous pull and push motion when cleaning glass, tile or other smooth surfaces. It clips onto the side of the caddy.
Polder’s new 2-in- 1 Hot Sleeve’s dual function combines a heat-resistant styling mat and storage unit in one compact design. It is constructed of silicone and nylon to withstand temperatures up to 500 degrees Fahrenheit so counter tops are protected from scorching and burning and hot irons are safely stored while cooling down. The lightweight design hinges open, forming a mat to rest tools and snaps closed, creating a sleeve for quick storage and transport. It’s designed to fit curling irons up to 2 inches round or straighteners up to 1.5 inches wide.
A Chill Station is designed to keep wine or champagne chilled and a bucket of ice cold. It combines a wine chiller and ice bucket in one compact unit. It is double-wall insulated to keep condensation from forming on the countertop, buffet table or home bar. The large 3.5-quart inner receptacle holds enough ice for a party and the removable transparent lid shows the ice level to help the consumer notice when it’s time to replenish.
Hidden inside the bucket for a seamless design, and to reduce the risk of water cross-contamination, the rust resistant stainless steel wine sleeve holds the bottle upright and isolated from the ice. Once chilled and ready to be poured, simply lift the bottle out and the silicone gasket wipes the bottle dry for a drip-free pour. Plus, the included tongs scoop ice all the way
