Pottery Barn recently opened a new store at Bradley Fair, a premier lifestyle shopping center, in Wichita, Kansas. The 11,000-square-foot store marks the brand’s introduction to the Wichita region.
The company said the store was designed to make shopping an enjoyable experience showcasing casual, comfortable home furnishing and décor collections, in addition to a new design studio offering design services.
The Wichita store is a hybrid of the traditional Pottery Barn design featuring long floating shelves, oversized bays made of white oak, blackened steel accents, concrete floors, and high open ceilings that give a modern industrial feel. As part of Pottery Barn’s commitment to sustainability, the store utilizes LED lighting to reduce energy consumption and low VOC paints to reduce toxins.
The Design Studio offers new tools and resources to assist customers in visualizing and customizing interior design and home furnishings projects. In-store and in-home design consultations with expert Design Specialists are complimentary and, for a small fee, in-home installation services including room painting, drape installation, gallery wall hanging and more, are also available.
“We are excited to introduce Pottery Barn at Bradley Fair and provide the local community with a first-hand experience of our stylish, high-quality home furnishings,” said Laura Alber, president and CEO, Williams-Sonoma.
Pottery Barn currently has 200 retail stores in the U.S., Canada and Australia.
