LAS VEGAS— For the Winter Las Vegas Market, Powell Home Fashions has readied introductions that will bolster core product lines, including juvenile bed and casual dining, as well as established but lower profile segments such as kitchen carts.
The company is introducing the Sydney kitchen cart with two colors, teal and white, spotlighted.
The cart rests on large industrial wheels and a thick butcher-block top, the company noted. Scaled to fit relatively modest spaces, it can serve as a portable prep surface wherever a user requires. The cart facilitates storage and organization with a wide drawer and a cabinet, while bead board detail and routing deliver style, Powell pointed out. Linear hardware, an open plank shelf on the bottom and a towel bar complete the cart’s look and represent additional elements that help extend consumer kitchen functionality.
The white finish or the teal finish, which is burnished with dried brushed antiquing, completes the look. The suggested retail price of the kitchen cart is $349.
As is the case with the kitchen cart segment, Powell may not be as well known for home office as it is for, say, juvenile beds, but at the Winter Las Vegas Market, the vendor will feature the Lynk computer desk, which combines technology, contemporary style and the capacity to adjust work heights, Powell noted.
The company maintained that it meant the Lynk desk to be a trend setting item with its rounded corner tempered black glass top over a glossy white metal U-shaped base. As such, the desk matches typical tech gear, Powell maintained.
As well as rising to standing or lowering to sitting height, the Lynk desk also provides wire management, a headphone jack and USB port in front for easy access. Users can stream music or other input directly via wire or wirelessly through Bluetooth enabled inset speakers under the desk. A slim drawer has a contrasting blue felt lining and compartments for organization. Dimensions are 47- and 1/4-inch by and 23- and 5/8-inch by 30- to 42-inches high. SRP is $259.
For the juvenile slumber segment, Powell plans for the winter market include the introduction of the Easton bunk bed. In developing the piece, Powell determined to put an updated twist on a classic frame, the company stated, so the twin over full bunk bed provides ample sleep space, with the added support of a sturdy 13-piece roll slat system. A unique hand-rubbed black glaze enhances the gray finish and helps highlight the bed’s curved front and louvered sides. The Easton bunk bed also comes in a white finish option. SRP is $599.
Powell developed the Noah three-piece dining set to comfortably seat two to four in small living spaces. The company designed the raked oak veneer to give the look additional style. A quarter turned veneer pattern embellishes the wood grain finish, Powell noted. The 10-inch drop leaves mounted on either side of the table extend its surface for guest accommodation or for whenever consumers might need extra space. Two tall, modern ladder-back chairs with comfortable neutral upholstered seats complete the set.
Table dimensions are 50-inches by 30-inches by 30-inches with leaves and 30-inches by 30-inches by 30-inches without leaves. Chair dimensions are 24-inches by 18-inches by 40-inches. SRP is $349.
