CHICAGO— Range Kleen is debuting a variety of new cookware and cookware-based accessories to the market at the International Home + Housewares Show, here, including pot racks, burner covers and induction compatible cookware.
Under the Range Kleen brand, the company will showcase its new style of pot racks, adding a hammered look to both its oval hanging pot rack design and extendable pot rack, which debuted in 2016. Both of these offerings will be available in the spring.
The company will also introduce a color addition to Range Kleen’s Ivy Embossed collection of Burner Kovers by Rebecca Baer. The new copper look will join white, silver and black. They are available in a set of four burner kovers, two large and two small, and will also be available in spring 2017.
Range Kleen’s licensed cookware brand, Moneta, made in Italy, brings new line extensions to the U.S. This line is targeted to a slightly lower pricepoint and is ideal for mass and grocery selection, the company said. Dubbed the Juno Riviera line, the cookware comes with the Artech Stone cooking surfaces and will be available in a variety of colors.
“The combination of quality, style, performance and the unique legacy of Italian craftsmanship since 1875 has given us the courage to bring the fifth line into North America,” said Patrick O’Connor, president of Range Kleen.
Berndes, also a licensed cookware brand, will also showcase a variety of new offerings.
The Vario Click Non-Stick Induction Plus cookware consists of a 3-layer non-stick coating with ferromagnetic stainless steel particles that support the induction process due to the magnetizability of stainless steel. The product is available in metallic bronze.
A design highlight of the line is the newly-created and removable design handle. The removable handle allows for more compact storage and stovetop to oven usage up to 400˚ Fahrenheit, Berndes noted. The assortment should be available in spring 2017.
Berndes will also highlight its Tradition offering with induction capability. The line is made from non-stick coated cast aluminum cookware and has a hand-turned wooden handle made from Sauerland Ash.
In ethnic cooking, Berndes will introduce a crépe pan and a wok. The wok, part of the Tradition and Tradition Induction lines, is made from vacuum cast aluminum and features a three layer durable non-stick surface for low-fat cooking and easy cleaning, the company said. The 13-inch wok with glass lid has handles that are molded and fully oven-safe, the company said. The domed glass lid is heat resistant in the oven up to 400˚ Fahrenheit.
The new Berndes Specials Crépe pan is also induction ready. An updated version of its 11.5-inch crépe pan, the product also includes a new ergonomically designed handle with stainless steel flame guard.
