CHICAGO— Spectrum Brands will be launching new personal care appliances from Remington at the International Home + Housewares Show, here.
In hair care, the launch will include Remington’s new T Studio Thermaluxe Collection of hair care tools and Tame the Mane detangling brush. For men, the company will launch a new stubble and grooming kit.
The T Studio Thermaluxe Collection was 27 months in the making backed by over 1,200 hours of consumer research, the company said, and features advanced thermal technology.
The proprietary technology is featured in each of the four product types in the collection, including straighteners, wands, a dryer and setter, and is said to ensure optimal heat for quick and safe styling.
The Thermaluxe hair straighteners are said to deliver consistent heat for lasting styles, while the Thermaluxe wands feature a gradient heating system that concentrates heat at the roots.
Both the straighteners and wands and are available in a slim model with an MSRP of $29.99 and wide model with an MSRP of $34.99.
The new dryer in the line features a Thermaluxe concentrator, said to be specifically designed to deliver even, consistent heat to help protect against damage to the hair. It carries an MSRP of $34.99.
The setter features a patented dual heating system that is said to heat the clips and rollers simultaneously in a new compact design. It carries an MSRP of $34.99.
The collection is currently available at Target both in-stores and online.
Remington’s new electronic detangling brush is said to help detangle hair in one step using advanced detangling technology that removes tangles and knots without pulling.
The hair tool is suitable for all hair types including curls and longer styles and was designed for use on both wet and dry hair. It carries an MSRP of $19.99, and is available at Amazon.com.
For men, Remington is introducing the newest addition to its Beard Boss collection, the Beard Boss Perfecter, and will have its Beard Boss team present at the show.
The stubble and beard grooming kit is powered by a high performance MaxLithium battery. It features a precision ground t-blade capable of trimming to 5mm, a precision metal comb said to lock in an exact trimming length, five snap on combs and full size foil. It also includes a quick charge feature, turbo mode and rubberized grip.
