Ikea has a new chief executive, as Jesper Brodin has been named to replace Peter Agnefjall, who is leaving the home furnishings retailer, according to a report by Fortune.
Citing a statement from Ikea Group, the report said Brodin would officially take over as CEO on September 1. Currently the head of Ikea of Sweden, Brodin has been with the retailer for more than 20 years.
Agnefjall has served as CEO since 2013 and has been with Ikea for 22 years.
