The “For Sale” sign may be up at housewares supplier SharkNinja.
A Reuters report on Monday, May 8, said that the company is exploring a sale of itself at a value in excess of $1.5 billion.
Officials with SharkNinja, which was formerly known as Euro-Pro, were not available for comment on the report, which said the company has hired Goldman Sachs Group to lead the sale.
The company, which distributes a variety of small electrics and floor care appliances in the Ninja, Nutri-Ninja and Shark brands, has placement at a host of leading retailers.
In addition, the Massachusetts-based company sells several products through direct response TV advertising and placement on leading home television shopping networks.
