Midea has launched its first floor care appliances under its recently acquired Eureka brand, at the International Home + Housewares Show, here.
In addition to the Midea booth, the company has a sister booth dedicated to the Eureka brand where the first iteration of its Eureka product development and floor care assortments are exhibited, including the Ultimate Clean Pet vacuum cleaner and the Instant Clean 2-in-1 handheld and stick vacuum.
According to the company, the Ultimate Clean Pet vacuum features the brand’s patented NoTangle Brushroll and PetPal cleaning tools, which work to easily remove pet hair from any surface without tangling— a leading consumer pain point. For example, it features a foot pedal that engages a blade inside the brushroll window to cut hair, strings and tangles from the brushroll, which are then more easily sucked into the vacuum.
The vacuum is also designed with AirSpeed Technology, said to provide powerful suction and deep cleaning performance for all floor types.
The Instant Clean unit is a bagless, convertible stick and handheld vacuum suitable for cleaning bare floors, stairs and hard to reach places. It features a lightweight design, at 4.4 pounds, a washable filter, on/off brushroll and easy empty dust cup. The unit also features a freestanding and easy to store design with a removable battery pack. It is available in a gray/teal color.
