Sauder High Point Initiative Expands Millennial Pursuit

Not long ago, Sauder Woodworking launched the Soft Modern collection to attract Millennial shoppers and, at the Fall High Point Market, it extended the effort by launching Harvey Park.

Harvey Park essentially builds on the Soft Modern collection by introducing a new look trending with Millennials. While Soft Modern had a Scandinavian feel, Harvey Park designs are Sauder’s take on mid-century modern.

The new collection is clad in a darker grand walnut finish and offers new silhouettes and functions with products for the office, accent, storage, entertainment and seating segments.

Sauder employs its ArtaGraph advanced imaging capabilities in designing Harvey Park pieces, which includes a coffee table with a colored-glass look on top that carries a suggested retail price of $139.99.

Sauder also extended its offering in another style that has proved popular with Millennials and other generations as well, Modern Farmhouse, adding fresh mixed-material pieces in its New Grange collection.

Under the Palladia collection, Sauder offered a new lighter finish, Vintage Oak, that it debuted at the show to provide a more casual look that broadens the collection’s potential application.

In other High Point developments, Sauder introduced a group of sitting/standing desks that offer an easy glide mechanism to make operation of the work top simple, and debuted new accent pieces including cabinets and end tables.
