Silk’n Launches New Skin Care Appliances

CHICAGO— Silk’n is launching three new personal care appliances focused on skin care at the International Home + Housewares Show, here. Each new skin care appliance includes technology-rich features aimed at supporting a healthy beauty routine. The company will also be launching its Flash & Go Jewel hair removal device.

The Silk’n Reveal is a microdermabrasion tool that, with weekly use, is said to diminish the appearance of fine lines, age spots, enlarged pores and acne scars. Immediate results include improvement of skin tone, texture and elasticity, the company said.

The device is said to be easy to use, and gently exfoliates dead skin cells for healthier looking skin. In addition, it is said to boost the benefits of facial creams with improved skin penetration. It includes two treatments tips, which allows users to choose between gentle or more intense treatments, and features a sleek and ergonomic shape.

The Reveal is currently available on the company’s website, and carries a retail price of $129.

The Silk’n Titan is an anti-aging tool that features harmonized energy technology to reduce wrinkles and lift facial contours. The technology is said to deliver harmonized energy to precise areas beneath the skin to activate the body’s natural restoration process.

More specifically, it is said to repair the skin’s own collagen and elastin fibers beneath the skin’s surface, strengthening its deeper layers from the inside out. The device can be used to tighten skin and reduce wrinkles and fine lines around the eyes, and is suitable for use on the face, neck and hands.

According to the company, noticeable results are achieved after 10 weeks of use. In addition, the Titan tool is designed to be sleek and compact and includes a storage case.

The Titan anti-aging tool is currently only available to Canadian customers through the company’s website, and carries a retail price of $269.

The company’s third skin care
device launch here at the show, Silhouette, is designed to reduce the appearance of cellulite.

According to the company, cellulite reduction and body contouring is achieved through patented HT technology, and is suitable for all areas of the body that are affected by age, weight and genetics. It features three treatment modes with optimum results achieved after 10 weeks.

The Silhouette appliance is currently available at the company’s website, and carries a retail price of $259.

The company’s hair removal appliance, the Flash & Go Jewel, is a light-based permanent hair removal device with adjustable energy levels. It features Touch & Flash technology, which allows users to place the device on the skin and glide without the need for pressing a button.

The device requires no refills and is FDA cleared, the company said. It features a portable and compact design, said to be easy to hold and store discreetly.

The Flash & Go Jewel is currently available at Kohl’s and Bed Bath and Beyond, both in-store and online, and carries a retail price of $199.
