Spectrum Brands will debut a variety of kitchen electrics under the Black + Decker and George Foreman brands at the upcoming International Home + Housewares Show.
In addition, celebrity chef Jeff Mauro will be at the company’s Lakeside Center booth at McCormick Place offering demonstrations of several new kitchen electrics. Mauro is currently the host of the Food Network show “The Kitchen” and is a partner and executive chef of Pork & Mindy’s restaurants. He will be at the booth on Saturday, March 18, and Sunday, March 19.
Among the featured new items will be the George Foreman Five Serving Grill & Broil. According to the company, the new unit allows users to grill, broil and melt all in one appliance. Also new is the Rapid Grill Series, which features faster pre-heat and more even cooking along with extendable hinges, tilting slopes, variable time and temperature settings and digital displays.
A featured item from the Black + Decker brand is the MultiPrep Slice ‘N Dice, which features a commercial-style dicer for creating 8mm cubes at home. The MultiPrep has a dual-sided julienne disk and reversible shredding and grating disk. Users can switch from thick to thin slices without changing the MultiPrep’s blades, and all parts can be stored in an included compact storage case.
