A new advanced handheld steamer features a 15-foot cord, dual modes for burst of steam and continuous steam, two thermostats to separately control water pump and heater regulation, a removable water tank, auto shutoff after 15 minutes in inactivity and attachments for use on upholstery, delicate fabrics and for lint removal. Suggested retail price is $59.99.
Spectrum is also offering a second advanced handheld steamer, which features dual modes for burst of steam and continuous steam. Equipped with a 10-foot cord, the unit features a removable water tank, auto shut off after 15 minutes of inactivity and attachments for use on upholstery and delicate fabrics.
Another new handheld steamer is offered with a heated stainless steel ironing plate that allows the unit to be used like an iron but without the need of an ironing board, according to the company. Offering continuous steam, a removable water tank and auto shut off, the steamer is also equipped with a pressing mat with Velcro clips, upholstery attachment, lint brush and delicate fabric attachment. Suggested retail price is $79.99.
Within the iron category is a new compact steam unit that offers a unique built-in cord slot that guides and secures the cord while being wrapped, company officials said. Equipped with SmartSteam technology that is said to regulate steam automatically based on the heat setting in use, the unit also features a nonstick soleplate, motion sensitive 3-way auto shut off, spray mist, easy-fill water tank with door and comfort grip handle.
The Impact advanced steam iron offers a high steam rate that is said by the company to quickly remove wrinkles. The unit features a stainless steel soleplate, variable temperature and steam controls, motion sensitive 3-way auto shut off, spray mist and burst of steam, auto clean system, soft comfort grip handle, large capacity water tank and nonslip heel.
