StoreBound Brings Lifestyle Focused Appliances To Market

CHICAGO— With more than 20 new items set for launch this year, StoreBound will showcase several new kitchen electrics and also debut the company’s first lifestyle furniture product that provides a host of unique features.

The Sobro coffee table plays to the growing trend of connected home products. It features a refrigerated drawer, LED lights, Bluetooth speakers, tempered glass top with touch controls, USB charging ports and two power ports that can power a laptop and connects to a television via Bluetooth. The table launched on Indiegogo in February and will be on display here at the International Home + Housewares Show.

“Since the inception of the company, we’ve put a tremendous emphasis on building a portfolio of intellectual property and working to incorporate proprietary technologies into the next generation of home products,” said Evan Dash, founder and CEO of StoreBound.

Within its core kitchen electrics assortment, the company is showcasing its Dash Rapid Cold Brew System. Using advanced ColdBoil technology to extract flavor from coffee grounds, the unit is said to brew coffee in less than 15 minutes.

Users are able to view the brewing process as water moves between the brewing chamber and pitcher as it extracts flavor from coffee beans using only cold, fresh water. The system makes enough concentrated cold brew for 4-8 servings and the adjustable dial allows for control of the strength of brew.

Also new is the Kitchen Couture by Dash line of fashion-inspired small electrics. A featured item is a 700-watt sandwich press that makes diamond shaped sandwiches that are grilled in minutes. The unit showcases design inspired by the shape and details of designer handbags and will be offered in an array of fashion colors.

“The one thing that unites women around the world is the love of
handbags so we believe that this
product will resonate well with
women and will be a hot gift for
holiday 2017,” said Catherine-Gail Reinhard, StoreBound’s vp/product strategy and marketing.
