StoreBound was recently featured on an episode of CNBC’s show, “Make Me A Millionaire Inventor.”
Evan Dash, CEO of StoreBound, was featured on the latest episode. Dash met with father and son, Thor and Luc Swensson, inventors of The Tailgater, a portable tailgate solution requiring seconds to set up at games or outdoor events. For the pitch, they had the opportunity to meet Dash. They were seeking $200,000 for 25% equity in their company.
After some back and forth negotiations and various challenges being answered to Dash’s satisfaction, Swensson accepted $500,000 in exchange for StoreBound taking an 80% stake in his company and assuming all of the responsibility for manufacturing, sales and marketing.
The show “Make Me A Millionaire Inventor” works to turn a million dollar idea to a million dollar invention. Hosts and engineering experts George Zaidan and Deanne Bell find entrepreneurs with revolutionary ideas, take a look at their prototype, meet with investors and help take the product to the next level.
