Swiss Diamond Adds Premium Clad Stainless Steel Cookware

CHICAGO— Swiss Diamond will be showcasing its Premium Clad stainless steel cookware at the International Home + Housewares Show, here.

Made from five layers of heat-conducting metals, the Premium Clad line is encapsulated by stainless steel and features smooth rounded edges. Premium Clad also features sturdy, welded handles for longevity, which don’t trap bacteria, the company said. The cookware bonds five metallic layers consisting of premium grade 18/10 stainless steel, pure aluminum, alloy aluminum, a second layer of pure aluminum and finally an induction-compatible 18/0 magnetic stainless steel base layer.

Oven safe up to 500°F, Premium Clad cookware from Swiss Diamond also offers the consumer ergonomic handles with a welded design that stays securely attached over time, the company said, as well as see-through lids and cast stainless steel knobs. To aid in adding ingredients, the Premium Clad pots and pans are etched with capacity markings.

Fry pans, saucepans, Dutch ovens, stock pots, sauté pans, chef pans and woks are all part of the Swiss Diamond Premium Clad lineup. They can be purchased individually or as part of a 10-piece set.

Additionally, Swiss Diamond also introduced its new cast iron line at the winter markets. According to the company, the products are machine casted for consistency in shape and cooking results. It has thermal conductivity from base to rim, an enamel finish that prevents rust, chip resistance and thermal shock resistance, Swiss Diamond said.

The new cast iron line has cast stainless knobs, large handles for use with an oven mitt and can go from the oven/stovetop to the table.

Swiss Diamond noted that the lid of its cast iron pieces are produced with a moisture retention system. The nodules on the underside of each lid collect moisture and return it to the meal during the cooking process. Users can add ice to the valley of the lid to increase the moisture inside of the cast iron.
